Italian UN Peacekeepers Injured in Hezbollah Rocket Attack in Lebanon

Four Italian soldiers were wounded when a Hezbollah rocket hit a UNIFIL post in southern Lebanon, according to confirmations from both UNIFIL and the IDF. The attack, which targeted a bunker and logistics area, was part of a series of assaults by Hezbollah on UNIFIL bases, including previous damage to posts in Ramyeh and Chamaa. Initially, Italy had blamed Israel for the attack, but later reports confirmed Hezbollah's involvement, with the rockets being fired from Deir Qanoun in southern Lebanon.
