Deadly Attacks Target Tunisia's Oldest Synagogue.

Five people, including two Jewish pilgrims and three Tunisian police guards, were killed in an attack on a synagogue on the Tunisian island of Djerba during an annual Jewish pilgrimage. The attacker, a guard affiliated with the National Guard naval center, was slain by security guards. The motive for the attack is under investigation. Djerba is home to the North African country’s main Jewish community and the Ghriba temple, one of Africa’s oldest synagogues, attracts thousands of visitors from around the world.
