Boat capsizes in Caribbean, killing 3 and leaving 14 Cameroonians rescued.

At least 14 Cameroonians were rescued after their boat capsized in the Caribbean while en route to the US Virgin Islands, killing three and leaving 13 missing. The group had been staying on the French Caribbean island of Guadeloupe and had departed Antigua early Tuesday. The boat was stolen in Antigua, and 16 people aboard it were rescued, including two Antiguans. The nationalities of those who died or missing were unknown. The Cameroonians apparently arrived in Antigua as tourists but intended to migrate to other countries. Antigua Prime Minister Gaston Browne said his administration has contacted the UN High Commission for Refugees and the International Organization for Migration for counsel on how to treat the survivors as refugees.
