Chinese Zoo Denies Bears Are 'Humans in Disguise'

Hangzhou Zoo in China denies allegations that some of its sun bears are actually humans in costumes after photos of the animals standing like humans circulated online. The zoo clarified that the sun bears from Malaysia are smaller and look different from other bears but are indeed real. Internet users had questioned the authenticity of the bears after seeing photos of one standing upright on its hind legs. Other Chinese zoos have faced similar accusations in the past, including passing off dogs as wolves and donkeys as zebras.
