Tragic Engagement Celebration Ends in Fatal Cliff Fall

A 39-year-old woman tragically fell to her death while celebrating her engagement with a clifftop picnic in Turkey. Yesim Demir slipped and plunged 100 feet off a cliff at Polente Cape in Canakkale. Despite surviving the fall, she succumbed to her injuries shortly after. Her fiancé, Nizamettin Gursu, had left momentarily to retrieve picnic supplies when he heard her scream. The area has been closed off, and an investigation has been opened to determine the circumstances of the accident.
