Europe's Joint Efforts Lead to Arrests in Alleged Cross-Border Hamas Terrorism Plot

Four individuals have been arrested in Germany and the Netherlands for their alleged involvement in a cross-border Hamas terrorism plot targeting Jewish institutions in Europe. Three others were arrested in Denmark in connection with related terrorism offenses. The suspects, described as longstanding members of Hamas, were accused of searching for an underground weapons cache in Europe on the orders of Hamas leaders based in Lebanon. The cache was intended for potential terrorist attacks against Jewish institutions in Europe. Danish authorities revealed that a network of individuals had been preparing a terrorist act that spanned international borders. The Israeli intelligence agency, Mossad, stated that the Danish police had arrested seven terrorists acting on behalf of Hamas and had successfully thwarted an attack aimed at killing innocent civilians on European soil.
