Gaza Faces Yet Another Communications Blackout: What You Need to Know

The Gaza Strip has experienced multiple communications blackouts since the start of the Israeli military campaign in October, cutting off its 2.2 million residents from internet, cellphone, and landline networks. The blackouts have hindered emergency services, prevented communication with the outside world, and limited access to up-to-date information. Internet connectivity levels in Gaza were already low before the blackouts, with gradual degradation due to factors such as power cuts, airstrikes, and damage to communications infrastructure.
