Surviving the Holocaust: Israel's Current Survivor Count.

As of 2023, there are 147,199 Holocaust survivors living in Israel, with 31,000 of them over 90 years old and more than 100 over 100 years old. The youngest survivors are 76 years old. Haifa has the largest number of survivors, followed by Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. The Holocaust Survivors' Rights Authority distributed over NIS 5.6 billion in payments, grants, and benefits in the past year and worked to bring services to the survivors' homes. The state ceremonies for Holocaust Remembrance Day will begin on Monday evening.
