Massive London March Condemns Antisemitism

Tens of thousands of people, including former Prime Minister Boris Johnson, marched through central London in a demonstration against antisemitism, marking the largest gathering of its kind since 1936. The rally aimed to address the steep rise in hate crimes, particularly against the Jewish community in the capital. English Defence League founder Tommy Robinson, who was asked not to attend, was arrested by police. The event featured speeches from Chief Rabbi Sir Ephraim Mirvis, TV personalities, actors, and political figures. Crimes against Jewish people have significantly increased since the Israel-Gaza conflict began, with a surge in Islamophobic hate crimes as well.
