David Adjaye Steps Down Amid Misconduct Allegations

Acclaimed architect David Adjaye has stepped back from several positions following accusations of sexual harassment and misconduct reported by The Financial Times. Three former employees accused Adjaye and his firm of exploitation, including sexual assault and harassment, as well as a toxic work culture. Adjaye denied the allegations but admitted to consensual relationships that blurred professional and personal boundaries. He resigned as an architectural adviser to the mayor of London and his work on a British Holocaust memorial was suspended. Adjaye's renowned projects include the National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, D.C.
