"Search for Missing Titanic Sub Continues with Expanded Efforts and Sounds Detected"

The US Coast Guard is bringing in more ships and vessels to search for a submersible that went missing in the North Atlantic while bringing five people down to the wreck of the Titanic. The search area is twice the size of Connecticut in waters 2 1/2 miles deep. The Canadian surveillance vessel detected more underwater noises in the area, but the exact location and source of the sounds has not yet been determined. The vessel is estimated to have as little as a day’s worth of oxygen left if it is still functioning.
