Ukraine's Interior Minister Warns of Radiation Checkpoints and Deteriorating Dnipro River.

Ukraine's Ministry of Internal Affairs will conduct training exercises with road closures and deployment of sanitary checkpoints to check radiation in preparation for a possible accident at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant. The Ministry assures residents that all Ukrainian services and local authorities are ready for any emergency, including those related to a possible radiation leak. The Ministry has set up relevant headquarters with power engineers, State Emergency Service employees, police, and doctors in attendance to develop and communicate the rules of behavior in the event of an emergency. Those who want to leave will be provided with transportation.
