President Nelson Announces 20 New Temples at October General Conference

President Russell M. Nelson of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced the construction of 20 new temples during the 193rd Semiannual General Conference. The temples will be built in various locations around the world, including Africa, Hawaii, Alaska, Washington state, Mexico, Peru, Brazil, Chile, Ghana, Nigeria, Angola, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the Philippines, Japan, and Mongolia. This brings the total number of temples announced by President Nelson to 153.
