A wife has threatened to protest outside a brothel in Gold Coast after her husband spent nearly $4,000 on a seven-hour sex-bender. The man paid for the first hour in cash to hide it from his wife, and then attempted to continue using a bank transfer but ended up using a credit card. The wife later turned up at the brothel, claiming her husband was "drunk and on drugs" and had no recollection of the incident. The manager of the brothel explained that the man seemed sober in CCTV footage and had negotiated a good deal with the sex workers. The manager advised the wife to take up the issue with her husband and not harass the brothel.
