Zelenskyy's Visit to Sumy Region Marks One Year Since Russian Troop Withdrawal.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the Sumy region to mark the anniversary of its recapture from Russian troops, the nearest he has been to the border with Russia since the start of the full-scale invasion in February 2022. Zelenskyy promised to rebuild the battle-scarred city and has been touring the country, visiting other regions. Meanwhile, Russian troops continue to shell towns in Ukraine, and an end to the conflict remains a long way off.
