Zelenskyy calls for new phase in Ukraine's war efforts.

Ukrainian President Zelenskyy visited troops in Avdiivka, Donetsk province, where heavy fighting is taking place. Russia's war in Ukraine has become largely deadlocked, with fighting particularly intense in the Donetsk province city of Bakhmut. The Moscow-appointed governor of the occupied part of Donetsk province, Denis Pushilin, visited Belarus and won pledges of support from President Alexander Lukashenko, a longtime Putin ally. At least three civilians were killed and 11 wounded in Ukraine between Monday and Tuesday, with most of the casualties occurring in the Donbas region.
