"UN Chief Calls for Overhaul of Security Council and Bretton Woods"

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has called for the reform of both the Security Council and Bretton Woods to reflect the current realities of the world. He stated that the global financial architecture is outdated, dysfunctional, and unfair, and has failed to function as a global safety net during the COVID-19 pandemic and the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
