The Consequences of Pursuing Vladimir Putin for War Crimes

The ruling party of Armenia has warned that if Russian President Vladimir Putin comes to Armenia, the country will have no choice but to arrest him due to the International Criminal Court's warrant for his arrest over alleged war crimes in Ukraine. This decision stands in stark contrast to other Kremlin allies that are not deviating from loyalty to Moscow. Even though Armenia is technically a Russian ally, the country is willing to take matters into its own hands and hold Putin accountable. Other countries, including Ireland, Croatia, Austria, and Germany, have also said they will enforce the warrant.
