Senegal's Opposition Leader Ousmane Sonko Arrested, Igniting Unrest

Senegalese opposition leader Ousmane Sonko has been arrested by the country's gendarmerie after an incident where he allegedly grabbed a phone from a law enforcement officer stationed outside his home. He is being held in Dakar and is being questioned on accusations of calling for an insurrection and theft of a phone.
