Former Finnish Prime Minister Sanna Marin, known for being one of Europe's youngest leaders and her support for Ukraine, has announced her departure from politics. Marin, who led a center-left coalition government and received praise for her handling of the Covid-19 pandemic, will join a London-based nonprofit organization as a strategic counselor. Finland's recent entry into NATO and Marin's desire to serve her country in a new role were cited as reasons for her decision.
