Russia places ICC prosecutor seeking Putin's arrest on wanted list

Russia has issued a warrant for International Criminal Court prosecutor Karim Khan in retaliation for the ICC's decision to seek Russian President Vladimir Putin's arrest for war crimes. The ICC called for Putin's arrest on suspicion of unlawful abduction and deportation of children, along with the illegal transfer of people from Ukraine to Russia. The Kremlin has denied committing war crimes and dismissed the warrants as "meaningless" because it does not recognize the jurisdiction of the ICC.
