'QAnon Shaman' Forgives Captors After Release from Prison Amid Capitol Riot Fallout

Jacob Chansley, also known as the "QAnon Shaman," who was seen storming the US Capitol on January 6, has released a video message in which he claims to have forgiven the US government for locking him up. He also promises to continue spreading the "truth" while embracing a nonviolent message. Chansley was released in March after serving about two years of a three-and-a-half-year sentence for obstructing a federal proceeding. He has reportedly been living in a halfway house since then.
