Protesters infiltrate Buckingham Palace in anti-monarchy demonstration

Anti-monarchy campaigners staged a protest inside Buckingham Palace, standing in the Grand Hall wearing T-shirts that spelled out "Not My King." The protest, organized by Britain's largest anti-monarchist group, Republic, aimed to push forward the debate about the future of the monarchy. Six activists were briefly detained by security before being escorted out. The group plans to continue protesting against the monarchy, with the next protest scheduled for the state opening of parliament on November 7.
