Poland strengthens military alliance with Ukraine through fighter jet pledge and gear support.

Poland has pledged to send Ukraine six more Soviet-era Mig-29 fighter jets, which are undergoing maintenance and can be delivered relatively quickly. The move is seen as a gesture of thanks for Poland's ongoing support to Ukraine in its defence against Russia, including assistance to over 1.5 million Ukrainian refugees. However, the visit comes at a delicate time, with Polish farmers growing increasingly angry at the glut of Ukrainian grain in Poland, causing prices to fall.
