PM Modi launches Rs 5,200 cr projects in Chennai amidst political tensions.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the new integrated terminal at the Chennai airport, flagged off the Chennai-Coimbatore Vande Bharat Express train, and participated in celebrations commemorating the 125th Anniversary of Sri Ramakrishna Math during his visit to Tamil Nadu. He expressed his government's commitment to the development of the southern state of Tamil Nadu and highlighted the allocation of a record Rs 10 lakh crore investment in infrastructure. PM Modi also underscored the speed and scale of work in terms of national highway development, rail line electrification, and increase in the number of airports.
