Opposition Leader Arrested in Pakistan for Alleged National Security Breach

Pakistan's top investigation agency has arrested Shah Mahmood Qureshi, an opposition leader and close aide of former Prime Minister Imran Khan, on charges of exposing official secrets and harming state interests. Qureshi was arrested for allegedly revealing a confidential diplomatic letter to claim that Khan was ousted from power by the U.S. Both Qureshi and Khan are booked under Pakistan's Official Secrets Act.
