Massive Protest in Warsaw Against Poland's Ruling Party

An estimated 500,000 people marched in Warsaw against Poland's ruling Law and Justice party, in a rally called by former prime minister and president of the European Council, Donald Tusk. Tusk's Civic Platform party is set to challenge PiS in an election later this year. The rally comes after President Andrzej Duda signed off on controversial legislation setting up a special commission to probe Russian influence on Poland's security, which the opposition claims could be used to remove Tusk from politics under trumped-up allegations.
