Khalistan supporters attack Indian journalist in US embassy protest.

Khalistan supporters brought wooden sticks to a protest outside the Indian Embassy in Washington, according to Lalit K Jha, a US correspondent for the Press Trust of India, who was verbally intimidated and physically assaulted by the separatists. The sticks were similar to those used to damage the Indian Consulate in San Francisco. Protesters hurled abuse and threatened the Indian ambassador to the US, while some incited violence and tried to damage embassy property. Secret Service personnel intervened to prevent any incidents. The organisers of the protest were hostile towards Jha, obstructing him and threatening him.
