Jaishankar criticizes Siddaramaiah for politicizing Indian citizens stranded in Sudan.

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar criticized Congress leader Siddaramaiah for politicizing the evacuation of 31 tribals from Karnataka who are stuck in violence-hit Sudan. Jaishankar highlighted the efforts taken by the government in Sudan and asked Siddaramaiah not to endanger Indians abroad for electoral goals. The Indian Embassy in Sudan issued a precautionary advisory against venturing out due to the ongoing clashes between the Sudanese army and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces. The Ministry of External Affairs has set up a Control Room to provide information and assistance to Indians.
