Raisi urged Palestinians to continue their struggle against Israel and expressed full support for the resistance. The speech is seen as a culmination of years of diplomacy aimed at mending the rift between Hamas and Iran over the Syrian civil war. Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar also spoke at the rally, calling for a strategic change in the path of Arab and Islamic countries towards ending normalization, closing embassies, and supporting Palestinian resistance. Similar rallies were held in Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, and Palestinian refugee camps in Syria.
