Iranian Pop Singer Faces Prosecution for Anti-Hijab Song

Iranian pop singer Mehdi Yarrahi is facing legal action after releasing a song that encouraged women to remove their mandatory headscarves. The song, titled "Roosarito" (Your Headscarf), expresses support for the protests against Iran's compulsory headscarf policy and calls for it to be made optional. Yarrahi, who has been critical of authorities in the past, is also facing legal action for another song, "Soroode Zan" (Woman's Anthem), which became popular among the protest movement.
