'Hindu Forum Urges Trudeau Government to Ban Gurpatwant Pannun from Canada Over Hate Speech'

The Hindu Forum Canada (HFC) has urged the Canadian government to ban Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, the legal representative of the banned organization Sikhs for Justice (SFJ), from entering Canada due to his alleged hate speech against Hindus. In a letter to the Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, the HFC called for appropriate action to be taken against Pannun, citing his inflammatory comments that caused distress within the Hindu community. The HFC also highlighted the possibility of charging Pannun under Canadian law for incitement of hatred. The letter further called for an investigation into Pannun's potential inadmissibility to Canada for security reasons, considering India's designation of him as an "individual terrorist."
