Eva Kaili to seek lifting of house arrest in Qatargate case.

Eva Kaili, a Greek EU lawmaker and one of the main suspects in the Qatargate cash-for-influence corruption probe, will soon seek to have her house confinement lifted and electronic monitoring tag removed, according to her lawyer. Kaili had been in custody since December and was released to house arrest pending trial on Friday. She has maintained her innocence and pledged to continue to fight the charges.
