Estonia Foils Russian Hybrid Operation, Detains 10 Suspects

Estonia's Prime Minister Kaja Kallas announced the disruption of a Russian hybrid operation involving property damage and monument defacement, resulting in the arrest of 10 individuals. The operation aimed to sow fear and tension in Estonian society but failed to do so, according to the Estonian Internal Security Service. The arrested individuals included Russian nationals and dual Russian-Estonian citizens, with six remaining in custody. Estonia's efforts to thwart Russian activities in the Baltics have led to increased scrutiny of its stance on Soviet-era monuments, with PM Kallas recently finding herself on a Russian wanted list for the removal of Soviet war monuments in Narva.
