Democratic Empowerment Key to Peace in Sudan

Sudan has been engulfed in violence as a power struggle between two rival military leaders erupted into full-scale warfare. The resistance committees that brought down the dictatorship of Omar al-Bashir are organizing on the ground to protect communities from the ravages of the latest conflict.
