Buhari's Legacy: Electoral Reforms and Leaving Nigeria Better Than He Met It.

Outgoing Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari expressed satisfaction with his administration's efforts to lay the foundation for Nigeria's "re-birth" and called on his successor to quicken the pace of work towards making Nigeria a great nation. He also noted that his administration had made considerable progress in reducing criminal activities but called on Nigerians to be more vigilant. However, his legacy is overshadowed by the fact that 133 million Nigerians were living below the poverty line as of November 2022, despite his promise to lift 100 million Nigerians out of poverty in 10 years.
