Belgium Frees Most 'Qatargate' Suspects, One Remains in Custody

Belgium has released all but one of the suspects in the "Qatargate" investigation, which involves allegations of corruption in the awarding of the 2022 World Cup to Qatar. The suspects were arrested in 2018 and accused of money laundering and private corruption. The investigation is ongoing, and the remaining suspect is expected to be released soon.
