Pilot makes emergency landing after finding venomous cobra on board.

A pilot in South Africa made an emergency landing after discovering a highly venomous cobra hiding under his seat during a flight with four passengers. The pilot felt the snake slide across his lower back and saw its head receding back under the seat. He informed his passengers and landed the plane safely in Welkom, where emergency responders and a snake handler met the plane. The Cape Cobra is one of Africa’s most dangerous cobra species because of the potency of its venom. The snake has not been found and might still be hiding somewhere deep in the plane.
