Exquisite Long-Tailed Butterfly Captured in Rare Photographs

A rare long-tailed butterfly, normally found in the Mediterranean, has been spotted in the United Kingdom, with only two previous sightings in the country. Recent climate change may have caused the butterflies to settle in the south of England. Photographer Andrew Fusek Peters captured close-up images of the butterflies in Brighton, and it is believed that these sightings may be the last of the season before winter arrives.
