Severe floods in China's Hebei province, caused by the remnants of Typhoon Doksuri, have resulted in the deaths of at least 29 people and caused billions of dollars in economic losses. The province's reconstruction is expected to take two years, with 16 people still missing. The floods have affected 5% of the province's population, resulting in the collapse of over 40,000 houses and damage to over 155,500 houses and facilities. More than 1.75 million residents have been relocated, and repairs are underway. The Chinese government has allocated 1.46 billion yuan ($202 million) in disaster relief funds, bringing the total to 7.74 billion yuan ($1.07 billion).
