Magnitude 6.5 Earthquake Rocks Japan, Causes Injuries and Building Damage

A 6.5 magnitude earthquake struck off Japan's western prefecture of Ishikawa, causing damage to buildings and injuring some people. No abnormalities were reported at nearby nuclear power plants. The government has set up an earthquake response center and warned of possible aftershocks.
