CIA Official Arrested for Leaking US Intelligence on Israel-Iran Conflict

A U.S. government employee, Asif William Rahman, has been charged with unlawfully transmitting two highly sensitive classified documents related to national defense. Rahman, who held a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance, allegedly transmitted these documents to an unauthorized person. He appeared in federal court in Guam and will be transferred to the Eastern District of Virginia for further hearings. The FBI and the U.S. Department of State's Diplomatic Security Service are investigating, while the U.S. Attorney’s Office and National Security Division are prosecuting the case.
