84-year-old Spanish climber injured in quest to scale world's highest peaks

Spanish mountaineer Carlos Soria sustained a leg injury above Camp 3 on Dhaulagiri when a Sherpa fell and crashed into his shin. Rescuers, including Polish climbers Bartek Ziemski and Oswald Pereira, are helping him down from 7,700m, but it will be a tricky descent. Soria was attempting Dhaulagiri for the 14th time and had reached Camp 3 with his team before setting off for the summit. This is the first time he has needed rescue.
