Ukraine Establishes Specialized Drone Warfare Division in Armed Forces

President Zelenskyy emphasized the effectiveness of drones in battles and their role in changing the security situation in the Black Sea. The move is unprecedented, as no other national military is known to have a specialized drone branch. Drones have played a significant role in conflicts such as the Russia-Ukraine war, the Israel-Hamas war, and Yemen's civil war. The new Unmanned Systems Forces will focus on training, production, and deploying specialized units to repel ground assaults and destroy occupying forces and their equipment.
