Ukraine's old Soviet-era aircraft, including Su-24M bombers and converted Su-24MR reconnaissance aircraft, equipped with British-French Storm Shadow missiles, remain the main air threat to Russian invasion forces until the Ukrainian Armed Forces receive Western fighters. The 7th Tactical Aviation Brigade has been dealing significant strikes against Russian forces, using the missiles to target enemy arsenals, headquarters, and bridges leading to Crimea.
