Ukrainian soldiers have praised US-made Bradley fighting vehicles for their effectiveness in nighttime assaults against Russian forces. The soldiers credit the strong and durable armor of the Bradleys for keeping them alive in battle, stating that they wouldn't survive the same threats in Ukraine's Soviet-era troop carriers. The thermal imaging capabilities of the Bradleys provide excellent visibility, allowing for faster target acquisition and better visibility than during the day. The vehicles have proven invaluable in navigating minefields, providing fire support, and evacuating wounded troops. Despite some losses, the US has pledged a total of 186 Bradleys to Ukraine as part of its security assistance commitment.
