Prince William's Military Parade Causes Troops to Faint from Heat

Several British soldiers fainted during the Colonel's Review military parade in London, where more than 1,400 soldiers were reviewed by Prince William, who is honorary Colonel of the Welsh Guards. The event was a rehearsal for Trooping the Colour, an annual military parade held each June to mark the monarch’s official birthday. The soldiers were wearing woolen tunics and bearskin hats in temperatures of up to 30 C (86 F).
