Milley confirms delayed military support for Ukraine offensive.

The US has started training Ukrainian forces on advanced Abrams tanks, but they will not be ready in time for Ukraine's imminent counteroffensive against Russia. The US and its allies are also working on agreements to train Ukrainians on F-16 fighter jets as part of a security plan to deter future attacks. The training schedule is timed to get the troops up to speed on the systems before the tanks arrive by this fall. The US and its allies have pledged to provide a force of about 300 tanks in total, including Challenger tanks from the UK, Leopard 2 tanks from Spain and Germany, and light tanks from France.
