Russia has developed and deployed new camouflage technology, nicknamed "invisibility cloaks," for its troops, as part of the Russian military doctrine of 'maskirovka.' The technology, developed by Russian firm HiderX, involves a camouflage suit that conceals the heat signature of soldiers, effectively making them undetectable from as close as 3 feet away. The suit, with three layers to manipulate infrared radiation, has been tested in Ukraine and is part of Russia's strategy to control and manipulate the adversary's perception on the battlefield.
