Finland's Border with Russia Faces Ongoing Closure Amid Migrant Crisis

Finland has decided to reseal its entire eastern border with Russia after temporarily reopening two crossing points, as an influx of migrants without proper documentation or visas arrived. The Finnish government accuses Russia of deliberately ushering migrants to the border zone, which is normally heavily controlled on the Russian side. The border will remain closed until January 14th. Finland had previously closed the border for two weeks in November, citing concerns of Russia using migrants to destabilize the country.
